Dr. Heather C. is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in therapy for performing artists. With her background as a professional actor who earned a PhD in clinical psychology, she has a unique understanding of the challenges that performing artists face. Partnering with Dr. Heather will help you expand your mental health skills and utilize many of the skills you learned as an artist reframed to apply to relationships and recover from hurtful experiences. She is licensed to work in most states in the United States.

She offers a range of services including cognitive-behavioral therapy and somatic integration. Dr. Heather is member of SAG/AFTRA & AEA and understands the unique challenges that performing artists face and provides tailored treatment plans to meet their specific needs. Dr. Heather is a member of the Performing Arts Medicine Association (PAMA). Her research looks at how the skills of empathy are impacted by actor training.
